Good Afternoon Tumblr-land :)
I feel like I haven’t posted in awhile, so I just wanted to touch bases :) I can’t believe it’s May already. It seemed like a month ago I was celebrating the clocking hitting midnight into 2011 and watching fireworks above the Space Needle across from Lake Washington. I had a great weekend long, 22nd birthday, celebration in the last month of April.
This month I feel like life is flying even faster by me. This coming Friday my boyfriend of 10+ months is turning 21. I have the weekend of and then on Monday, my A #1 best friend since all of eternity is turning 19. Once upon a time we were two little girls playing dress up in our Mulan Halloween costumes, trying to find out what Blue wants. Once upon a time she was also shorter than me, lol.
On top of all of this, in order to get this Friday off, I had to trade shifts with someone at work. I work 5 days/week and I wanted to keep my weekend off, so the only option was to work 7 days straight. Then I have class 30 minutes from my house 5 days/week and a 4-6 page essay (single space) due TOMORROW midnight. Thank goodness I got a call from work yesterday that I didn’t have to come in. I was able to walk my dog, go to Target and fill back up on hygiene stuff, and finish 2 pages of my essay.
With all that said, I feel like I don’t have time for anything anymore. My best friend found the perfect gif that basically describes my life -_-
The only thing you need to do to make it more accurate is add a scene of me in the classroom, replace the cubical scene with a hospital hallway, and add my sitting on a couch (I always eat breakfast/lunch at the TV).
I need some spice to my life. It felt great to wake up early this morning, see not a single cloud in our Seattle sky, and be more productive. But I need new forms of fun. I’m not a drinker, or a clubber, but I want more chances to get dressed up, meet new people, and say “Guess what I did this weekend!” (and not have it be, “sat on a couch and watched ________,” or “went to the theaters and watched ______,” or “went to the mall and bought ________.”
